For me, photography is all about capturing ‘the moment’ before it’s lost forever.

When I was 24 I bought my first SLR camera, a Pentax MEF which I loved.  Many years later, at the age of 50, I decided to go digital and became the proud owner of a Pentax K200D.  A part-time evening course and hundreds of camera magazines later, I’ve managed to get myself out of using automatic mode and enjoy shooting anything and everything.  Most of my photography is now done with a Pentax K5iis.  My dream would be to win the lottery and have more free time to do what I love doing best – taking pictures.
